Prenatal Care and Testing

RG Pharmaceutica gave the awareness of Prenatal Care and Testing.

Any future mother needs prenatal care. Prenatal care is the regular health care a woman receives during pregnancy by your doctor, nurse midwife or other health professional. Prenatal care should begin as soon as possible, preferably even before getting pregnant. Often, this is called "consultation before conception." In this consultation, the doctor explains the chronic medical problems and medications. Additional tests may be recommended. The doctor examines their weight gain and exercise. It also provides nutrition information, which may include taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid.

The goal of prenatal care is to monitor the progress of your pregnancy and review any problems that may arise. Women receiving prenatal care have healthier babies and are less likely to have problems related to pregnancy.
You should call to schedule a prenatal visit with your doctor as soon as you realize you are pregnant. After talking to you, your doctor may suggest you see her soon in the office, or suggest a first visit around eight weeks after their last menstrual period.
